Magnum Power, a growing utility contracting firm based out of the Pacific Northwest has an immediate entry level position opening in Ridgefield, WA in our accounting department. We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual with an eagerness to learn.  

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Answering phones
  • Processing invoices from data entry to issuing checks  
  • Reconcile vendor statements each month
  • Credit card statements and reconciliations
  • Setting up vendors and maintaining W-9's for annual 1099 processing
  • Vendor file maintenance
  • Communicating effectively with vendors
  • Complete and return Credit Applications
  • Order office supplies
  • Additional duties as assigned  

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Job Description

Magnum Power, LLC, a growing utility contracting firm based out of the Pacific Northwest, is currently seeking an Estimator to join our Estimating Department. Seeking applicants with sufficient knowledge in the Power Line Industry. Especially knowledgeable in Transmission projects up to 500kV and Distribution projects to 69kV, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Vault Installation, Substation, and Civil Construction estimation. Success in this position will be determined by the level of ability in the following duties and responsibilities.

 Primary Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Be accountable for all assigned project estimates from start to finish
  • Ability to comprehend legal contract details and interpret drawings
  • Ensure all estimates are completed thoroughly and include all material take offs, labor take offs and any additional necessary information
  • Ensure Project Managers and General Foremen have all Information, resources, and materials accounted for in the estimate to complete the project on schedule and on budget
  • Meet with PM’s, GF’s and Operations Team Leads for estimate hand off and clarifications
  • Build and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships
  • Work closely with project management, accounting, fleet, safety, and environmental departments to ensure all project needs are covered within estimates
  • Other duties as assigned

Primary Duties and responsibilities for Yard/Site Coordinator include:

Magnum Power, a growing utility contracting firm operating in the Pacific Northwest, is currently seeking a Project Manager to oversee selected Transmission and Distribution systems projects. Success in this position will be determined by the level of ability in the following duties and responsibilities.

Primary Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Be accountable for all aspects of assigned projects from start to finish
  • Ensure all projects are planned, budgeted, scheduled, billed, and monitored to ensure they are finished on time and under budget
  • Ensure all field crews for each assigned project have all the Information, Resources, and Materials they need to complete the project in a timely manner
  • Monitor and manage scope change
  • Work closely with estimating, accounting, fleet, safety, and environmental departments to ensure project needs are met
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • PMP preferred
  • 2+ years' experience in a construction project management setting
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills in supervision, motivation, learning, and coaching
