MPS5040-000 is a conventional NLX/ATX form-factor switching power supply, which also has a high surge capability on the +24V output. This makes MPS5040-000 particularly suitable for Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) applications.

6. Control Interface

PSON (LOGIC ON/OFF) TTL compatible siganl setting on/off state of unit. DC outputs enabled if pulled to logic low. DC outputs (excluding +5Vsb) disabled if driven to logic high or open circuited.
Power Good TTL compatible flag indicating status of +5V and +3.3V outputs. Set to logic high between 100ms and 500ms after both +5V and +3.3V outputs reaches normal operating limits. Reset to logic low at least 1ms prior to +5V or +3.3V outputs dropping out of normal operating limits.
